Today was spent in Longreach visiting the tourist attractions - Stockman's Hall of Fame, QANTAS Founders' Museum and Fr Matthew's house.
Got in touch with the history of the area at two really great attractions, inspirational stories abounded showing the resilience and determination of the pioneers.
The live show kept us entertained with some quite amazing animal training.

Sunset outside Longreach |
'The City of Bunbury' 747 retired to Longreach in 2002 - sure it would have been quite a sight to see as it came in to land.
Thanks to Matthew Moloney for his advice on getting a sunset photo - sure we will see many more and we are looking forward to sunset at Uluru. Great to catch up with Matthew and thank you for your hospitality and the wine!!
So tomorrow it is off to Kynuna via Winton to check out some dinosaur fossils, fulfilling a wish we had over a decade ago. It is also our big day, hopefully the weather will not be a repeat of how it was 25 years ago!
Love to all
